The uncertainty during the pandemic was overwhelming. A group of artists decided to retreat to the studio, which was home for them. The result was a collaboration with a fusion of genres ranging from Rock, R&B, Country & Western, Soca, and Reggae, to Dancehall. Duringthisperiodtheyfeatured in each other’s projects and found cohesion in working together.

Experimentation and playing around with music led to the unanimous realization to form the group, NUHDED.

Technology has allowed everyone, especially young people to be exposed to music forms they have never heard before. With the intertwining, collaboration, and experimenting with various music forms the possibilities are endless.

NUHDED ethos is that even with these latest developments each genre of music can still be authentically identified within the new ‘mix’. In other words, no music form or genre is dead. If you listen with a keen ear, it’s all still there, alive and beating, NUHDED!
